Trotskids es van formar a Rennes el 1982 i es van convertir ràpidament en una de les bandes destacades del punk francès dels anys 80, amb un estil ràpid, cru i carregat d’humor i provocació. À mort !… à fond !!…, publicat el 1986 per Terminal Records, és el seu segon LP i va ser enregistrat a Londres als Alaska Studios. El disc reuneix dotze temes i combina l’energia del punk francès amb melodies enganxoses, cors contundents i una actitud irreverent. Va rebre una bona acollida dins l’escena punk de l’època i avui és considerat un dels treballs essencials de la banda. Euthanasie Records el va recuperar posteriorment en una reedició en vinil.
Trotskids were formed in Rennes in 1982 and quickly became one of the notable bands of the French punk scene of the 1980s, with a fast, raw style full of humour and provocation. À mort !… à fond !!…, released in 1986 by Terminal Records, was their second LP and was recorded in London at Alaska Studios. The album features twelve tracks, combining the energy of French punk with catchy melodies, powerful sing-alongs and an irreverent attitude. It was well received within the punk scene at the time and remains one of the band’s essential releases. Euthanasie Records later brought the album back into circulation with a vinyl reissue.
