Cicatriz – directe DLP

Cicatriz – En Directo is a particularly important document in the history of Basque punk. The album captures the band’s concert in Lakuntza on December 30, 1994, one of their final shows, performed as a tribute to Pakito, the band’s bassist, who had died earlier that year.

By this point, Cicatriz had evolved from the raw punk sound of their early years towards a heavier, more powerful sound influenced by rock and heavy metal, while still maintaining their punk attitude. The concert captures this final period of the band, with Natxo Etxebarrieta leading the line-up alongside Goar Iñurrieta, Diego Garay and Pedro Fernández.

Originally released on CD, En Directo finally arrived on vinyl in 2025, thirty years after the recording. The new edition from Kasba Music is a double LP in a gatefold sleeve, released both on black vinyl and as a limited red-and-black marble vinyl edition.

More than just a reissue, this double LP brings back one of the last surviving documents of Cicatriz live and gives new life to an essential recording for understanding the final years of one of the most important bands in Basque punk.
