Smashing Time – Brand Spanking New EP 10″

Smashing Time is a New York City band that began as a project between the UK and the United States before eventually settling around its NYC line-up. Their debut release, Brand Spanking New, came out in 2025 and delivers five tracks of raw, direct and unpolished Oi! punk.

Their sound is deeply rooted in 1980s British Oi!, with influences ranging from The Business to the Chiswick Records tradition, but filtered through today’s New York underground scene. The guitars are rough and distorted, the rhythm section is straight to the point, and the melodies never take away from the aggression. The physical edition was released by Mendeku Diskak as a 10-inch.
